When storing wreaths, keep in mind that they need to hold their shape. Therefore, they need to be stored in a container or box that relieves the stress on the frame. It's a bit difficult to keep them upright, and laying them flat will limit your storage space as you can't put anything on the garland.

A better option is to store your wreath in a sturdy bag to protect it from the elements. Then you can simply hang it on the wall of the storage space. This takes up less space and helps maintain the shape of the wreath.

Christmas tree storage

Christmas trees are one of the most difficult items to store. Many try to keep the cardboard boxes they originally came in. However, this is not an ideal way to protect trees. We recommend that you use an artificial Christmas tree storage bag when storing your Christmas tree. These bags are durable and help prevent bulb breakage.

If your tree has hinged branches, you'll need to compress the splayed branches into a narrow structure first, then fold them from the top. This allows the tree to fit properly into the storage bag. Trees with removable branches should be stacked at the bottom, with the largest branches at the bottom, to use as much space as possible. Whether your tree is stored in a box or a bag, the tree should lie flat, not on the end of the tree. This will prevent all material from moving during storage. Flocked trees should not be stored in hot conditions as the heat may cause yellowing of the flock.

Decorations and other figurines should be stored in boxes. We recommend the use of decorative boxes that provide a separate space for maximum safety.

Other options include filing a durable box with shredded newspaper or other soft filler. This will help keep the decorations separate. When you store these boxes, do not stack them as this may cause some decorations to break.
